ORIGINAL ART AVAILABLE!!!

Hey folks, I've had a few emails lately asking about my original pages from Arkham Reborn and Batman: Streets of Gotham- Manhunter. I have a great guy that helps me with that, Paolo from Cadence Comic Art. Left to my own devices I can barely tie my own shoes. Paolo is a good egg and is easy to deal with. He'll treat you right. Check out his site (linked below) where you'll find TONS of my artwork! Everything from Arkham Reborn to Paradigm.

CADENCE COMIC ART

So check it out. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask either Paolo or I. HE'LL more than likely know what he's talking about, IIIIII on the other hand, will probably just point you his way, but I'm always happy to help, too. :)

Thanks

DETECTIVE COMICS 865

Earlier this week they released the solicitation for my second Detective Comics issue, #865. Check it out!

DETECTIVE COMICS #865

Written by David Hine, co-feature written by Greg Rucka, art by Jeremy Haun, co-feature art by Cully Hamner, cover by Cliff Chiang.

Batman spends the night in the bowels of Arkham Asylum attempting to uncover its mysteries. Plus, the horrifying fate of Black Mask is at last revealed! In the co-feature, The Question discovers the shocking true identity of the man responsible for the human trafficking and gunrunning.

40 pages, $3.99, in stores on May 26.

Above is the cover for the issue, once again from the amazing Cliff Chang. I think it's pretty damned amazing!

If you're a fan of my earlier work with David Hine on "Battle for the Cowl: Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham Reborn", you're going to love these issues of Detective!

NEW 2010 SKETCHBOOK!!

I've had a few emails recently asking if I'm going to be doing a new sketchbook this year. It kind of got me to thinking that it might be time to do something a little different. Instead of going with the usual 40pg ashcan style sketchbook, this year I'm going to put together something a little bigger and more elaborate. It's still in the works, but I'm working on a new 250 (or so) page black and white, perfect bound, 7.5 x 9.6 in sketchbook. It will collect sketches, character studies (like the one of the Penguin featured above), commissions, thumbnails, pencils, and inks from my ten years of making comics. Some stuff you've seen before, along with a lot of work you probably haven't. It will be affordably priced at $25.o0. I'll be bringing them with me to cons this summer and will have a link to them here on my site. I'm also CONSIDERING doing a special edition 8.5 x 11 hardcover, if there is enough interest. If you're interested in one of the sketchbooks, especially in me doing the special edition hardcover, drop me an email.
